South West Highway Directions - Langford Park is located on Nettleton Road in Jarrahdale. This is about 45 to 50 minutes drive south from the centre of Perth. You can either go down the South West Highway and turn left onto Nettleton Road just as you leave Byford (Peak petrol station on the corner) and proceed along Nettleton Road until you cross a set of disused train tracks. The entrance to Langford Park will be on your right about 400m after the train line. You will cross the train line again as you enter the park and you should follow the signs at the round about that take you to the lake car park. On race day a marshal will direct you from the round about.
Freeway directions - If you come down the freeway (best for those people from the northern or western suburbs and Fremantle people) exit the freeway at Mundijong Road and turn left towards the hills. Take Mundijong road all the way to the South West Highway and turn right. Take an immediate left into Jarrahdale road and continue up the hill for about 3kms. Nettleton Road will be on your left just after you enter the 60km speed zone. Proceeed for about 1km and Langford Park will be on the left. Drive into the park and you will get to a roundabout, follow the signs at the round about that take you to the lake car park. On race day a marshal will driect you from the round about.
Parking
All competitors and spectators will be asked to pay a gold coin donation to the local volunteer fire fighters for parking. Please make sure you have your money ready.
Parking will be in the top carpark same as the Riders Choice 6hr. There will also be parking in the bottom carpark but this will be allocated to the first 30 people who register.
Please follow the instructions of all parking marshals.
The Course
The course map can now be viewed by clicking on the image below. It will contain a lot of similar trails to last years trail. It is highly recommended that you ride a lap before the race starts.

Camping
There is no camping at Langford park at any time. You can however setup on the grass on the Saturday night during the race.
Facilities
There is a toilet block at Langford park. On the night of the race there will also be at least 6 portable toilets. There is no fresh drinking water on site and all competitors should bring their own water with them.
Food and drinks will be for sale at the race. A mobile coffee van will also be on site for most of the night and the morning.
The volunteer fire fighters will also have a bbq for breakfast. |
